Its hard for an average skill to feel good or fun when just a couple leagues ago something was completely broken compared to it. Think of Cyclone in Legion, or Winterorb/Soulrend/Ed/Contagion in Synthesis League. The problem with Poe in general is that the meta builds are on another level of speed and strength. If you want to give yourself the best league start or best farming build in general, you don't want to shoot yourself in the foot by picking something average.
